Traces of Lived Experience in Different Languages

2026-10-05 — 2026-11-05

Curatorial text

What Remains brings together different perspectives and languages around a common experience: that which time cannot completely erase.

Each artist approaches the traces left by lived experience from their own visual territory. Memory, waiting, wounds, transformation, and the inner world appear here without the need to share the same aesthetic or the same history.

The works engage in dialogue precisely through their differences. One image may lurk; another preserve a memory; another recognize that healing also means change; another transform experience into a landscape that inhabits us.

The exhibition thus proposes an open journey through different sensitivities and a shared question: what remains within us after what we have lived?

Perhaps the events and emotions do not remain intact. Perhaps something deeper remains: the trace they left and the new way from which we learned to look.
