Artist profile
Biography
ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY
Her artistic journey began in August 2019, when she found in psychedelic art a way to express her creativity, emotions, and her unique way of perceiving the world. Since then, she has developed her own style characterized by the use of color, shapes, contrasts, and a constant visual exploration.
Her work is mainly created manually, using markers and special papers suited to this technique. Through compositions full of color and details, she seeks to create pieces that invite viewers to look beyond the obvious and allow each person to find their own interpretation.
In December 2020, she participated in "Libros Flamantes," a publication produced in Madrid, Spain, dedicated to young international artists. This participation was one of the first recognitions of her artistic career.
In 2021, during the pandemic period, she took part in an international exhibition through the Universidad del Valle (Univalle) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, bringing her work to an international artistic space at a particularly significant time for the world.
At the end of 2023, a water brand in Bolivia, focused on promoting artists, acquired one of her works to incorporate into the design of their bottles. This collaboration allowed her to bring her art to a different format and closer to a wider audience.
Since then, she has continued to develop her career independently, creating and selling works, exploring new ideas, and constantly renewing her artistic style.
Although her specialty is psychedelic art, she also creates commissioned portraits, using her technique and creativity to represent different people.
Her art is, above all, a process of exploration and transformation: a way to convert ideas, emotions, and perceptions into color, shapes, and movement.
Artist statement
ARTISTIC STATEMENT
Ninamont's work arises from the need to transform emotions, thoughts, and perceptions into images full of color, movement, and shapes.
Through psychedelic art, she explores the relationship between imagination and reality, creating compositions that seek to go beyond literal representation. Her works are handmade with markers on special papers, using color and detail as main tools to generate depth, movement, and different interpretations.
Her creative process does not aim to impose a single way to observe a piece. On the contrary, each artwork intends to become a personal experience for its viewer, allowing colors, shapes, and elements to awaken different sensations in each person.
Ninamont's art is in constant evolution. Experimenting, changing, and discovering new possibilities are essential parts of her process. Each piece represents a different exploration and, at the same time, an opportunity to know herself and express through visual language.
Although her main focus is psychedelic art, she also finds in portraiture a way to explore identity and individuality. In both cases, her intention is to create works that are not only observed but that generate a connection and remain in the memory of those who encounter them.
