ARORDEN · Archivo Vivo was created to support artists’ everyday work: organizing artworks, gathering documentation, preserving their careers and deciding how to present them to the public.
A photograph shows an artwork, but its story also lives in its processes, exhibitions, texts, certificates and the people who have accompanied it. ARORDEN brings those elements together in an archive that can grow with its creator.
The platform is designed for visual artists and photographers, as well as representatives and galleries that need to manage archives and inventories. Each artist retains their identity and decides what to share, whom to work with and what remains private.
The project’s origins
ARORDEN is a ConectArt project, developed from Miami, Florida, USA, by Denia Matías, a visual artist with a background in Mathematics and Computer Science and experience in administration and project leadership.
It grew from the meeting of these disciplines and a firsthand need: bringing order and continuity to artistic work without taking time away from creating.
Its purpose is to make professional management tools accessible to everyday working artists, with clear navigation and a presentation that respects the uniqueness of each artwork.
Preserve what has been created, understand its journey and open new possibilities.
